The Four Pillars of Destiny
Feng Shui consultations are accompanied by a Chinese Astrology Reading, called the "The Four Pillars of Destiny" or Ba Zi (Eight Characters). You may already know the Chinese animal of the year that you were born, but in fact there are at least four other animals in a Chinese horoscope, as well as some or all of the five elements, broken down into yin or yang.

Using the date, time and place of your birth, a feng shui consultant will draw up a chart to discover your own unique personal chemistry, the cycles that you go through in life and calculate what kind of luck these cycles will bring.

We can see whether you have good business sense, are good with money, what would be the best line of work for you, what, if any, health problems you may suffer from and what kind of relationships you have. You can discover your strengths and weaknesses, enabling you to understand your own energy and to always be in the right place, at the right time.

Is Chinese Astrology important when using Feng Shui?
Most importantly, a Chinese astrology reading tells a Feng Shui practitioner what it is, in terms of the five elements, that you need to support your health and well-being. We then use this information during your consultation to add this element to your surroundings.

Nine Star Ki astrology is used alongside the Four Pillars of Destiny and gives an additional insight into your personality and your relationships, particularly relationships with your children.
